From strolling through historic streets with a round fan in hand at refined cultural gatherings, to themed performances featuring historically accurate recreations of ancient makeup and attire, and on to creative celebrations tied to traditional festivals, in Zhongshan, a group of enthusiasts have spent the past decade transforming Hanfu from a niche interest into an everyday presence—and a vibrant part of the city's cultural landscape.
